The Power of Nine

Today is 09-09-09!!!

Today is a cylindrical anomaly, it represents the last set of repeating, single-digit dates that we'll see for almost a century (until January 1, 2101), or a millennium (mark your calendars for January 1, 3001), depending on how you want to count it.

Modern numerologists - who operate outside the realm of real science - believe that mystical significance or vibrations can be assigned to each numeral one through nine, and different combinations of the digits produce tangible results in life depending on their application.

One of the interesting qualities of this number: Nine is unique among the digits in that no matter what you multiply it by you can always add the result and return it to a nine. For example, 9 x 11 = 99 / 9 + 9 = 18 / 1 + 8 = 9.

BUT today on 09/09/09, I think I shall have breakfast at nine minutes past nine!! With nine things, a slice of bacon, an egg, slice toast, berry jam, butter, slice of pear, and 2 pancakes, seltzer water! = nine items! I will tell you if the power of nine made a difference!!!
