Summer Solstice
Well the summer solstice was yesterday, the first official day of summer and what better place to be then at the beach!!! It was a beautiful sunny day, cool ocean breezes, gentle waves, and sharing some wine (well I'm drinking seltzer water!) with old girl friends I grew up with on Long Island .... YEA!!

Looks like beach is free of oil pies. Thats a good thing hopefull the stuff thats being pumped into the ocean, does not more northward for awhile.

Well that sounds like a perfect way to spend the Solstice. I would have stuck around after sundown and lit a bonfire too!
